Wow, what a story! If Mary M is reading this, three cheers for you! And thank you for telling your story so honestly, so that others can be inspired by it. It's only when people talk honestly about this that it will be regarded as a treatable illness and a public health issue.

Absolutely! I am a firm believer that the more we share about our own struggles, the more we open up and let others know that they are not alone, the greater healing we recieve - whether we are recovering from our own addictions or others'.
